![]() ![]() Most times, free fonts are only for personal use with the option to upgrade for business use. However, if you plan to use the designs for your business, whether to sell or even give away for free, then you will need a commercial license in order to use the font legally. This applies to most crafters, who want to use pretty fonts, clipart, etc to customize a vinyl project, create a wood sign, or other DIY project. Personal use means you are using a designer’s work for your own projects with no business interest. Useable for text in Word or to create beautiful print for craft cutting machines like a Cricut machine*, Silhouette machine*, Brother Scan N Cut*, etc.Beautiful, Pinterest-worthy typography for cool font pairings or combinations that go well together (aka great graphic designer quality), which can be used for weddings, baby showers, professional events, logos and more.A collection that includes thick, bold fonts thin, modern handwritten script cursive calligraphy masculine and feminine fonts, texture like distressed or grunge or with extra tails, glyphs, and swashes serif, sans serif, and more.Cool, cute, stylish font family typeface samples from trustworthy sites such as Font Bundles*, Creative Fabrica*, Dafont, Fontspace, and other reputable font websites.Downloadable alphabet and/or dingbat (picture) ttf or otf files that work well on desktop, laptop computers (Android and iPad tablets are a bit more tricky).Most popular trends to classic timeless styles (elegant modern, fancy vintage, rustic farmhouse, clean and simple minimalist, etc).Our goal was to find the best collection of fonts that include as many of these characteristics listed below as possible. It's just really unfortunate to look at and makes my eyes hurt (both literally and figuratively, y'all).We've searched high and low for a diverse array of fonts to fit your project needs. While this has nothing to do with font pairing, one thing I have to mention: please don't ever use ALL-CAPS with a glyph font.You can see how I did that in the first font combination illustrated below (although the second combination is exactly the opposite, but still works). When I do the above pairing, I often do the script font on "top", allowing it to kind of sit on the all-caps font.I also like to do all caps with one font and pair it with a script font in all lowercase, but that's just my own preference.Pair a script font with a print font (combine this with the thicker/skinny idea and you've got a good thing going on). ![]() Pair a thicker, heavier weighted-font with a skinny font.It would also be a little tough on the eyes. They're quite ornate in nature and would compete with one another. ![]() Try to avoid pairing two fonts with glyphs together.If you want to use them in a commercial manner, most of the font designers do provide options for licensing and commercial versions. This actually took a bit of digging, but I think you're going to love the outcome and all of these pretties. However, I went through and found 15 totally free (for personal use) fonts that incorporated all of the fancy, decorative glyphs into the main font characters. ![]() Usually with a glyphed font, the main font is free, but the characters with glyphs can cost extra. Today's free fonts with glyphs are a bit unique. I use fonts with glyphs in lots of decorative lettering.to really take things over the top in the cuteness. These fonts are such a joy to work with, as well. Glyphs can take a normal word or letter and give it such panache and fun with an extra little stroke, curlicue, or swirl. ![]()
